Why community matters to us

In a world where businesses often focus solely on their bottom line, RedDoor stands committed to community service as a way of giving back and making a positive impact on society.

We recognise that businesses are integral parts of the communities they operate in. For us, we know the impact we can make on the Croydon community. Through sponsorship of local initiatives and support for organisations, we significantly impact various aspects of society. These actions contribute to positive change and create a ripple effect that extends far beyond a simple monetary donation.

Charitable giving also has a profound impact on our employees, instilling a sense of purpose and pride in their work. RedDoor emphasises the importance of philanthropy in our corporate mission, fostering team-building opportunities and a sense of camaraderie among staff.

We also understand the value of building trust through community engagement, recognising that supporting local benefits both RedDoor and the community we serve. It’s also a positive and proactive way to connect with socially conscious demographics.

RedDoor’s charitable initiatives

Laptop donation

RedDoor actively engages in charity support, recently donating a laptop to a young person in need through the Croydon Council. This act of kindness received heartfelt appreciation from the family, demonstrating the impact of the RedDoor’s commitment to community service. Here’s what Luisa S

addington, Sensory Service Lead at Croydon Sensory Support Service, had to say:

“A huge thank you from M and his family for the laptop you supplied for him. I dropped it off today and he and his mum were so pleased. He has very limited language, and I didn’t realise how good he was with tech (like most youngsters are). He made a very approving expression when he decided to have a look at the specs and saw the GB!”

Golf club hole sponsorship

RedDoor is also sponsoring the first hole at Woldingham Golf Club for one year. We are keen to support activities in the local community that foster healthy, active lifestyles.

Rounders day

We are hosting a rounders day in May, bringing together our staff, customers, and

partner organisations. This also promotes an active lifestyle, boosts the morale of all parties involved and creates a sense of community, with RedDoor being the common thread.

Our philanthropic endeavours have not only benefited those in need but have also created a positive cycle of growth, networking, and enhanced business reputation. As we continue to grow, we remain steadfast in our commitment to giving back, proving that, for RedDoor, making a difference is not just good for business—it is the right thing to do.
